Mark Your Calendars – We have a great show lined up June 18th – 7pm at our warehouse. Local favorites ESO, with the amazing FINN RIGGINS, and HOSANNAS – who were recently named one of the “Best New Bands” of Portland! Check out the link for the artcle.

Rise Up Stands in opposition to the recently passed Arizona Bill SB1070 that would empower police officers to stop and interrogate every individual in the state regarding citizenship status and make it a crime to be an undocumented person in Arizona. The bill contains no safeguards against racial profiling and increases the likelihood of arbitrary arrest and detention. These are all human rights violations!!!

Rise Up Clothing has created a thought provoking tee shirt titled “Do I look Illegal.” This shirt is a great “ice breaker” to engage friends and your community about the issues. Click to see the Men’s Tee & Women’s Tee. Much thanks to Vanessa Bryant, (wife of Lakers super-star Kobe) who helped support our awareness campaign by wearing the “Do I look Illegal” shirt to game one of the Lakers playoff series against the Phoenix Suns.

Tell Arizona’s Governor to Veto SB1070!!!

Thank You!!

Of-the-Earth

We want to thank you for helping Rise Up provide empowerment through education! Whether it’s been volunteering your time, purchasing clothing, painting, singing, financially giving, or providing your insightful ideas….We Appreciate It Very Much!

Because of you Rise Up continues to combat child labor & discrimination by providing free education for over five hundred vulnerable children in India & Nicaragua. 2010 continues to be an exciting year being actively involved in our local community promoting emerging young musicians & artists, advocating for human rights issues, and hosting positive youth events.

Rise Up is completely volunteer run and we need your ideas & creativity! Please consider giving the gift of education. 100% of your donation will go directly to help an underprivileged child receive free education.
