During the summer of 2006 aspiring artist Jesse Roberts designed an anti-war tee for a peace rally in California. The artwork caught the eye of some friends in the apparel industry and the design was picked up by Urban Outfitters, Metro Park, a few other nationally distributed stores.  With some momentum, Rise Up released it’s first clothing collection in February ‘07 at the POOL Trade Show. Rise Up created some buzz at the exhibition and they were invited to be the art directors for the following show. Brothers Jesse & Seth Roberts, accepted the position as art directors for the August 2007, POOL Trade Show. Their art was used throughout the August show, and Rise Up helped POOL start it’s first eco area. Jesse’s designs were featured in Metro.Pop, ReadyMade, Racket, Modernism The New York Times, and Beautiful Decay to name a few.

Rise Up’s manifesto has always been to make art driven-thought provoking-socially conscience designs and apparel. Rise Up’s art team has included talented artists such as Dana Mackenzie, AJ Dimarucot, Tom Monson, Jesse Lockwood, 805 Collective, Enthos, Jacob Wick, Joe Kimmel, Matthew Covington, Tamara Kleinstick, Seth Roberts, and creative director Jesse Roberts.
